How to prepare your entries

Award Evaluation and Recognition Process

The Growth Hacking Awards celebrate innovation and excellence across three main categories, each comprising multiple subcategories to showcase the diverse achievements within the field of Growth Hacking. Our esteemed panel of judges meticulously reviews all nominations, assigning scores based on a set of predefined criteria that reflect the ingenuity, effectiveness, and impact of each entry.

Award Tiers and Eligibility

For each subcategory, we honor the top-scoring nominations with three levels of awards, provided there are at least four (4) nominations:

Platinum Award: The highest honor, awarded to the nomination with the top score in each subcategory, recognizing unparalleled excellence and leadership in Growth Hacking.

Gold Award: Awarded to the nomination with the second-highest score, celebrating significant achievements and contributions to the field.

Silver Award: Given to all nominations scoring above the average score of all nominations within the subcategory, recognizing a broad range of impactful efforts in Growth Hacking.

Tie-Breaking and Multiple Winners

In the event of a tie for the highest score in any subcategory, the Lead Judge exercises their authority to select the Platinum Award winner, ensuring a single recipient for this top accolade.

Ties for the second highest score may result in multiple Gold Awards within the same subcategory.

If there are fewer than four nominations in a subcategory, it will be merged with another subcategory within the same category group to maintain the competitiveness and integrity of the awards.

Grand Awards

We also celebrate overall excellence with three grand awards based on the total points accumulated across all categories:

Most Awarded Growth Marketing Agency: Presented to the agency with the highest total points from all awards.

Most Awarded Growth Marketing Freelancer: Awarded to the freelancer with the highest total points from all awards.

Most Awarded Growth In-House Marketing Team (Company): Granted to the company’s marketing department with the highest total points from all awards.

Points are awarded as follows: Platinum Award = 7 points, Gold Award = 3 points, and Silver Award = 1 point.

This structured approach ensures a fair and transparent process, allowing us to acknowledge and reward the pioneering efforts and successes of Growth Hackers who push the boundaries of creativity and efficiency. Join us in celebrating the remarkable achievements within the dynamic world of Growth Hacking.

Applications Evaluation

Jury Process

All nominations will undergo evaluation by our Jury, which is carefully organized by the Organizing Company to prevent conflicts of interest. The judges are divided into groups, with no judge aware of their group’s composition. This anonymity ensures impartiality in evaluating nominations and maintains the integrity of the results.

Voting is confidential and individual, safeguarding the objectivity of the results and ensuring that Jury members’ decisions are uninfluenced by others.

Restrictions on Jury Voting

Jury members are prohibited from rating:

  • Nominations from their own company or organization.
  • Entries from any company within the same group as theirs.
  • Submissions related to projects they were involved in, even if submitted by a third party (e.g., a client).

Jury members must recuse themselves from evaluating any submissions with which they have a connection, declaring any conflicts of interest via the online evaluation platform. It is also emphasized that Jury members are to use the data from the nominations solely for evaluating purposes within the event’s context. Any personal benefit or unrelated use this data is strictly prohibited, ensuring the evaluations and winner selection remain focused solely on merit.

Evaluation Criteria

Each submission will be rigorously assessed by several Jury Members, who will assign scores ranging from 0 to 100 based on the criteria outlined below:

  • Effectiveness: This criterion, which holds a 50% weight, measures the impact and results of the project.
  • Completeness & Quality in Project Implementation: Accounting for 25% of the total score, this assesses the thoroughness and caliber of the project’s execution.
  • Innovation: Also contributing 25% to the overall score, this evaluates the originality and creativity of the project.

Evaluation System

  • The scoring is grounded in the criteria mentioned, which have been made clear to both participants and the Jury.
  • Nominations will receive a score from 0 (poor) to 100 (excellent), reflecting their performance against the established criteria.
  • A nomination’s final score is calculated as the average of all scores provided by the judges.
  • Once the evaluation phase concludes and the platform is closed, only the Lead Judge and the Award Committee will have access to all individual evaluations, judges’ comments, and the scores for each entry. They are responsible for validating the results and the evaluation process.
